Thanks for visiting us online.
Like all new-comers, we know you have questions about Porter Free Will Baptist Church. Hopefully you’ll find some answers here.
We’d love for you to join us on Sunday, and if you’re looking for a church home – Porter might just be the place for you.
What should I expect?
You’ll find that Porter is a group of people from all walks of life, and all generations, that enjoy serving Christ together. It is our desire to worship together, and serve together, while making a real difference in the lives of others. It is our greatest desire to introduce others to Jesus Christ.
We provide two quality worship experiences each Sunday that include authentic worship, and practical messages from God’s Word.
We realize that we are a needy people, and God alone is able to provide the grace and mercy that each of us so desperately need. It is with that attitude that we worship Him for Who He is. We believe you will enjoy worshiping with us.
What should I wear?
We don’t have a dress code. Some people wear ties, some people wear jeans, most wear whatever they’re most comfortable in. We encourage you to do the same.
What do you have for my kids?
We have children who come from many of our neighboring communities and school systems. We love children. We understand that they are as much a part of our church as their parents, and grandparents. We strive to provide many opportunities to learn about Jesus, in a fun, yet safe environment. We have programs for all ages. Nursery through 12th Grade have age specific classes during the Sunday School hour, and Kids Worship is at 10:30AM. Sixth grade and up are encouraged to worship with their parents in our Morning Worship Service.
Each Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM, Porter Kids and Porter Teens gather in the fellowship building. Porter Kids is for children in Kindergarten through grade 6, and they enjoy Elements Kids Worship. Students in grades 7-12 make up our Porter Teens.
